Scenes with foliage are often very heavy and require a plenty of machine resources. A good way to get around this is by using the proxy system of our scattering engine. It’s very simple, you will see a rough shape of the object in the viewport, but you will render the full resolution object.
Grassblade addon gives you access to a large number of parameters to customize each biome. change the density, size, rotation, seed … but don’t stop there! you can customize the shaders and make a biome unique. add moss or dirt to the rocks. change the season of the grass and plants, add variations in the weed, cut the height of the grass to look like an English turf, add strips or tiles in the turf to create a football stadium.
